just this afternoon, we went to the ateneo high school to claim our yearbooks after four years of patiently waiting. i was with karen, benn and cha. essa and ivan was there, too. it has been a really long time since we visited the campus.
her name is karen |
i personally did not like the yearbook (which explains the absence of an image of it in this particular post.) my classmates didn't like it either. something was so wrong about it. the layout. the lack of photos, perhaps. the obvious errors like the change of name. it was frustrating, somehow. but then, it was better than not having a yearbook at all. right?
third floor, high school building |
so, after claiming the supposed-to-be cool yearbooks from sir santi, we marched through the corridors as we talked about our classmates and teachers, those unforgettable high school moments and some other random stuff. walking in those floors and seeing the different angles of that strategically structured building was nostalgic. we had mental pictures of the activities that we did and where exactly it was held and those other crazy deeds we had done. ahh. those bittersweet moments.
i remember using this |
the classroom we used to own when we were in our final year in high school is being utilized also by 4th year st. ignatius class. what a coincidence! we were once st. ignatius students and we are proud to carry the brand up until now. unfortunately, they stopped using the ignatius knights thing. they were now labeled as igis chipmunks, which was kind of cute, but not powerful, daring and brave enough. so much for the comparison though. anyways, we were welcomed by our fellow igis and they were really really warm. as if we all knew each other! they allowed us to step into the room, have a moment and take pictures. they liked being in the photos as well. too bad the lighting was not good. that made me decided not to include the photos here.
that's just about it. oh, and just so you know, today was also the day i claimed my high school diploma. haha
