the lady in red is my grandma

today, my dearest lola josie turns 71. 

she spent the night with her husband and good friends. her son greeted her through yahoo messenger, and her other children and grandchildren came home to greet her personally. some other relatives from abroad also tried to contact her. but sadly, she missed their phone calls. she was out when they called early this morning. talk about timing. nonetheless, i know she's one blessed grandma. from the looks of her eyes, i know she was happy.

instead of spending time with my brothers and cousins inside the house, i was taking photos outside, as requested. i witnessed my grandma and her friends from her religious community as they laughed heartily with those random silly jokes and all that. they gave her presents and personal messages, too. they really made her day extra special.

ok. so everybody went home already. the party's over. i had to go back to my room, and review for a major exam tomorrow. the thing is, i don't think i still can. i'm drained already. i must rest. good night!

i'm setting the alarm at 5AM.
